What is Temporary Assistance for Needy Persons?
The Temporary Assistance for Needy Persons (TANP) project provides persons with financial assistance, food, clothing, shelter and related support services.
Who is eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Persons?
To be eligible for this benefit project, applicants must be resident in Nigeria. You must be unemployed or underemployed and have low or very low income. You must also be one of the following:
1. the elderly
2. orphans
3. widows and widowers
4. pregnant teenagers and adolescent mothers
5. and displaced persons.
